Retro tuning for classic cars

We offer tuning chips for older “old school” classic cars and sports cars that are still very popular.

Thanks to more than 20 years of developing software for engine management systems, we have solid experience of older models with old control systems.

The first generations of engine management systems arrived in the early 80s and had loose chips mounted in sockets, which is why the word “tuning chip” came about later. These older chips were therefore easy to swap yourself.

Around the IT bubble in 1996–1997, development moved fast and the control units now got surface-mounted chips, which could not always be programmed through the unit but had to be desoldered and programmed in an EPROM programmer. From about 1999, most control units can be programmed directly via the pins or the OBD port.
